JOY Soup Kitchen
JOY Soup Kitchen is an interfaith ministry for which St. Paul’s volunteers make and contribute food and supplies. For over twenty years, Greenville’s JOY Soup Kitchen has been feeding over one hundred adults and children daily, Monday through Friday. St. Paul’s volunteers participate in this ministry by making sandwiches every second and fourth Monday throughout the year and delivering them to JOY Soup Kitchen. Volunteers also pick up and deliver soup provided by Chico’s Mexican Restaurant. St. Paul’s own St. Lydia’s Guild provides money raised at its quarterly Yard Sale to purchase supplies for the Kitchen.
