Knitting Ministry

The Knitting Ministry meets twice monthly at St. Paul’s. Over the centuries, prayer shawls have symbolized shelter, warmth, peace and spiritual sustenance. They donate their time and talents to create hand-knitted and crocheted shawls and scarves, filled with the power of prayer for those in need. The shawls provide comfort to the sick, the lonely and the elderly. The shawls and donors share in the joy of the graduate, newlywed or new parents. Like all acts of generosity, the creation and the presentation of a Prayer Shawl enriches the giver as well as the recipient.
