Mardi Gras Pancake Brunch
February 11 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
It is time again to put on your stretchy pants and feast before we begin our prayerful Lent. Join us on Sunday, February 11, from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. in the parish hall for our Mardi Gras Pancake Brunch – all you care to eat pancakes and sausages, as well as fun and games.
We will be eating Matt Scully’s famous pancakes and of course will feature Sumrell’s Country Sausage. Robert Hughes has accepted to reprise his role as Head of the Pancake Makers.
Since this event will be directly after the church service we will need help on Saturday evening to help make pancake batter. If you are available on Saturday please email Hannah Hutchens.
If you would like to help decorate the tables and set up this will be during formation hour at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, February 11. We will also be decorating the walls and planning out some more details this Sunday at EYC. Many hands make light work, and we appreciate any way you can offer your time and talents for this event.
Your donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child goes to support NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) Pitt County Chapter. EYC is always looking for ways to support mental health.
