Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring Communion to members of our parish family who are unable to come to church because of illness or infirmity. Visitors leave our services with kits containing consecrated sacraments and conduct abbreviated services in homes, the hospital, or nursing homes. Through this sacramental ministry, we extend our church services in recognition that “we who are many are one body, for we all share one bread, one cup.” Visitors also have a pastoral role, offering their presence in a way than can bring hope and even healing to those who may feel isolated or lonely. Usually visitors leave feeling that they have received far more than they have given.
If you are interested in serving as a visitor or wish to be added to the list of those who receive Communion.
