To Know Christ and to Make him Known

At St. Paul’s, our mission statement proclaims that we are alive as a parish to share the good news of God-among-us. Throughout our website, you will see an outline of the Christian Formation programs offered at St. Paul’s during the 2010-2011 year. Join us for Sunday morning, one of our weekday programs or during a special offering as we broaden our knowledge and grow together in faith. We invite you to take part in all we do “to know Christ and make him know.”

altYOUTH MINISTRY AND “THE JOURNEY TO ADULTHOOD”
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Greenville North Carolina
Saturday, August 28, 9 AM- 3 PM in Parish Hall
(Registration ($15 per person) begins at 8:30 AM)

A day-long training will be offered by Heidi Clark, a gifted youth leader & Director of Consultant Services at LeaderResources, who previously was in the position of Christian Formation Coordinator for the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri.

This training will cover the scope of Youth Ministry theology and practice as presented in the Journey to Adulthood program - though applicable across youth ministries. We will talk about empowering leaders and parents, communicating with the parish, and look at lots of specifics about the three two year blocks: Rite 13, J2A, and Young Adults in Church. While this training is geared toward youth leaders involved in EYC & J2A, all are welcome to attend and learn about this dynamic spiritual formation program.

Registration is $15 per person. If you or someone in your parish is interested in attending this workshop, please contact the Reverend Carrie Craig at St. Paul’s, 252.752.3482 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
