Community Outreach

Celebrant: Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself? Will you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being?

People: I will, with God’s help.

— (Book of Common Prayer, page 305)

Our baptismal covenant calls us to service to the wider community. As individuals and as a community, St. Paul’s contributes to the local community in a number of ways. Our flagship program is the weekly St. Paul’s Food Pantry, a program that provides groceries for more than one hundred families every week. St. Paul’s also participates as a parish in organized events such as Angel Tree, which provides presents for children with incarcerated parents, and CROP Walk, which raises awareness around hunger.

All members of St. Paul’s are invited and encouraged to find a way to become involved in community outreach.
