YOUTH PROGRAM**

Youth have opportunity to be involved in a range of church ministries that includes acolytes, lectors, Eucharist ministers, confirmation, liturgical dancers, Ulster Project, Journey to Adulthood Sunday morning program, and EYC (Episcopal Youth in Community) Sunday afternoon program.  (See below for contact information for each of these)
 
 
Youth in grades 7-12 are in the midst of a six year path called “Journey to Adulthood” (J2A) that helps young people celebrate their individuality and creative potential.  J2A meets on Sunday mornings from 9-10:15 unless otherwise noted.  A light breakfast is provided.  For more information, contact Beth Hammond (Director of Christian Education) at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.  EYC (Episcopal Youth in Community) meets on Sunday afternoons in the Parish Hall from 5-7:30 with 5:00-5:30 for gathering and games; 5:30-6:30 for program, and 6:30-7:30 for meal and community building.  EYC includes youth in grades 6-12.
 
Themes for EYC programs and activities include interfaith education; environmental awareness and stewardship; local and international outreach opportunities; worship opportunities; inter-generational connections; joint activities with college group (ECM); social and justice issues and our faith; respectful living; community building; and other programs designed to help youth grow in faith.
