Communications Forum on Sunday June 2 at 9:15in the Parish Hall.  The vestry is in the process of developing a comprehensive communications plan for St Paul’s. As Stephen Covey says in “The Seven habits of Highly Effective People,” we should seek first to understand and then to be understood. So, the first step in the process is to seek input from the parish on what your definition of “communications” is at present.  We will, on June 2, use a white board approach to identify your ideas. The sole purpose of this initial forum will be to seek to understand how you would like communications to flow to and from St Paul’s to you, your family, the parish as a whole, and the community. Please feel free to contact either Jim Clement, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. They are vestry leaders for this communications initiative.

Seeing the Face of God in Each Other Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Farmville, will be hosting an Anti-Racism workshop for members of our parishes and for all in the community on Saturday, June 1, from 9:00  a.m. – 4:00 p.m.   Sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina, this workshop offers an interracial opportunity to discuss, in a safe environment, realities associated with racism, prejudice, bigotry, stereotyping, discrimination, and scapegoating, to name some of the many obstacles which prevent us from Seeing the Face of God in Each Other. To register, please call or email Hannah Jarman (252-522-0885, ext. 228); or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
